The DPA Environmental Management System (EMS) Manual provides a framework for management of operations and development to encourage best practice methods and meet legislative obligations. The EMS manual is based on the Environmental Management Standard (ISO14001) and references the following management documents:
- Environmental Policy
- Environmental Aspects Register
- Environmental Management Program
- Various plans
- A range of procedures and work instructions
- Checklists; and
- Forms
Aboriginal Heritage Plan
In recognition of the heritage values of the area, the Dampier Port Authority maintains an Aboriginal Heritage Plan (AHP) to manage developments on port lands. The AHP was prepared in consultation with the relevant Aboriginal groups and the Department for Indigenous Affairs.
