Towage
Rio Tinto Iron Ore currently have 5 tugs in service with bollard pulls ranging from 45 tonne to 65 tonne as well as 2 line boats and one pilot vessel.

Pilotage is compulsory except for vessels of 150 tonnes or less and those Masters who hold a valid Pilotage Exemption

The Pilot Boarding ground is in position 20º 24' 0"S 116° 42' 52.2"E. The Pilot may board either by helicopter or pilot cutter. This position must be kept clear except for vessels awaiting a Pilot

Bunkers
Diesel is available at the Dampier Cargo Wharf via bunkers supplied by road trains.
Ship Repairs
A wide range of light engineering, mechanical, electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and restoration workshops are located close to port facilities. Instrument and electronic technicians are available with the Shire of Roebourne for repairs and servicing.
