Schedule of DPA Charges

Pilotage charges for vessels visiting the Dampier Cargo Wharf are charged direct to agents/owners by Woodside Marine. For all other berths pilotage is charged direct by the company eg: Pilbara Iron, Woodside, Dampier Salt. Please note that the charges below are inclusive of the GST and are effective 1 July 2007.

SCHEDULE OF PORT CHARGES

DESCRIPTION	RATE
Services Provided by Dampier Port Authority	All charges GST inclusive unless stated otherwise
PORT DUES	0.0978 cents per GRT (minimum charge $259.60 for vessels up to 2655 GRT)
LAYUP FEE for a vessel awaiting orders while at anchor stacked or moored	$0.04 per day per GRT (if the vessel has no documented GRT the charge is $1.10 per LOA per day.)
PILOTAGE CHARGES: (effective 10/10/2007)
Pilotage of vessels entering and departing from Port Not exceeding 10,000 GRT Greater than 10,000 GRT	$4,300) these charges are $5,360) for both ways
Pilot or pilot boat cancellation where a service is deferred by more than 4 hours from the ordered time	$2,150
Pilotage Exemption Fee	$660
Detention fee applies for each hour a movement is delayed beyond one hour after ordered time where the Pilot is on board the vessel and/or awaiting to board the vessel	$810 / hour
Detention fee for each hour a Pilot is delayed beyond one hour from leaving a vessel for any cause, once a vessel has completed the pilotage movement and is secure in the berth, at anchor or for outward bound vessels, at or passed the pilot disembarkation position in the Port Control area	$810 / hour

Dampier Cargo Wharf (DCW) and Heavy Load-Out (HLO) Wharf Charges	All charges GST inclusive unless stated otherwise
Fresh Water	$4.45 per tonne GST free
Wharfage: All materials including Liquids and products in bulk	$4.62 per tonne
Bunkers	$2.09 per tonne
Berth Hire	$52.25 per 50 metres of vessels LOA
Storage Charges	$1.10 cents/sqm/week

Bulk Liquids Berth - General Berthing Port Charges

The Bulk Liquids Berth (BLB) at the Port of Dampier has been built specifically for the gas to liquids industry and these customers will always have priority.

However at the discretion of the Dampier Port Authority other vessels may be allocated to the facility.

NOTE: The BLB cannot be booked for use by other vessels.

Users of the BLB for the purposes of general berthing, away from the Dampier Cargo wharf (DCW) will incur charges for wharfage, bunkering, water and berthage in the same manner and rates that these miscellaneous services incur at the DCW.
