Visiting the Port

Site Induction

The DPA place the highest priority on health, safety and environment in everything we do. We expect that our values will be supported by all employees, contractors, leaseholders and visitors to our site.  Therefore all persons requiring access to the Port of Dampier must complete the Site Induction.

The Site Induction outlines the important information about maintaining a work environment free from health, safety and environmental harm.  The induction takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Upon completing the Site Induction the DPA will  receive email confirmation, you will also receive a confirmation email if a personal or business email address has been provided.

Access to the Port will only be issued to you if:

  • You have successfully completed the Site Induction
  • You have completed an Access Application Form (698kB)
  • You hold a valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC). Evidence of your MSIC must be provided prior to being issued with DPA access.

You have a period of 60 days to attend the Dampier Port Authority MSIC Office (in person) to submit your completed Access Application Form, show evidence of your MSIC and have your photo taken. Should you fail to complete this process within 60 days you will need to re-sit the site induction and provide an updated Access Application Form.

An access card is valid for 12 months, after which point you must renew your online Site Induction and submit a new Access Application Form.
